27 February 2003 - New Head of Corporate Finance at United Gulf Bank

Rabih Soukarieh UGB announced that Rabih Soukarieh has joined them as Senior Vice President - Head of Corporate Finance. Mr. Soukarieh will be responsible for developing the Bank’s business in the GCC countries working alongside UGB’s subsidiary KIPCO Asset Management (KAMCO), which has an established track record in corporate finance, direct investments and other investment banking areas.

During his 15-year career, Mr. Soukarieh has held a number of positions at major financial institutions in the Middle East and Canada, including the National Bank of Kuwait Group in Kuwait as Senior Manager in the foreign corporate and corporate finance areas, and at the Saudi Investment Bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Team Leader in the Corporate Banking Group. Mr. Soukarieh also worked at Regal Capital Planners in Toronto, Canada, where he was responsible for providing financial planning services to private individuals. Mr. Soukarieh is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Hons.), from Northeastern University - Boston, where he also worked as a Research Assistant in the university’s Finance Group, and a Bachelor’s of Science (Hons.) from Indiana University-Bloomington, USA.
